Sau đây mình xin nói về cách viết câu
overall cho các loại Chart khác nhauThường trong cách viết phần mở bài
của Task 1 sẽ gồm 2 phần
Introduction → overall
1.Introduction thường giới thiệu chung
về biểu đồ chúng ta miêu tả. Tuy nhiên các bạn nên tránh lập lại từ đã nêu
trong đề bài mà nên uyển chuyển cấu trúc và từ vựng trong phần này.Trong phần này chúng ta nên sử dụng
các mẫu câu thay thế như sau

2. Phần Overall là phần chỉ xu hướng
chung của bài viết. các bạn có thể xem
một số mẫu câu trong ví dụ như sau:

Như biểu đồ này ta có thể thấy có một xu hướng chung cho 2 category là tăng lên trong đó IT industry tăng mạnh hơn so với service industry Vì vậy, chúng ta có thể đưa ra 1 câu overall như sau:
As a whole, the two categories under survey showed the same trends over 8 years period given, increasing as a percentage of GDP.
Phân tích như biểu đồ này ta có thể thấy 2 xu hướng hoàn toàn trái ngược nhau nên ta có thể viết:
As can be seen / as a whole, the two categories under survey/ study/ veiw showed opossite trends over 47 years period given
As can be seen / as a whole, the two categories under survey/ study/ veiw showed opossite trends over 47 years period given
Phân tích: như 2 biểu đồ này ta có thể thấy 2 trong 3 categories giảm còn 1 category tăng nên ta viết:
As a whole, two out of three categories under servey showed upward trends, while one out of three followed a downward trend
upward trends: xu hướng tăng
downward trends xu hướng giảm
Notes*:
Ngoài ra chúng ta còn có thể sử dụng các cấu trúc sau để diễn tả xu hướng cho câu overall
